ISL participated in the Career Program organized by ARCH Community Outreach (ACO)by offering the students a one-week job shadowing at ISL. The program aims to provide students with mentorship and career exposure to bridge the gap between the academic and the future career, hoping to help them understand themselves through the real workplace experience so as to meet the challenges in future.

In this week, a secondary student experienced the daily operation in the marketing department. The activity started with a brief introduction about the company background, products, services and the daily tasks for the student. Moreover, he was assigned to do marketing research, arranging the information of the clients, editing company news and gathering information of the events. With the assistance of our staff, the students finished the marketing research and other tasks smoothly and got to know more about the operation in an office.

Through this programme, the student gained valuable experience and got to explore their career path. ISL hopes that the student can develop a positive working attitude by arranging different jobs to test his work abilities and skills. With his own interests, strengths and weaknesses, the student can explore his own career orientation, and get himself prepared for the challenges ahead.
