HKMA Quality Award – 25th Anniversary Dinner
On 29 July 2016, the “HKMA Quality Award – 25th Anniversary Dinner” was organised by the Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA) at InterContinental Hong Kong. Elites from various industries all gathered in this evening. The highlight of the ceremony was the “ HKMA Quality Award” which has always been highly competitive. The award was strictly determined by seven selection criteria in leadership, strategy, clients, evaluation, analysis, knowledge management, teamwork, operation and sales performance. ISL was the winner of the “ HKMA Quality Award” in 1994. ISL was invited to the ceremony and was awarded a trophy. We were pleased for all the winners in the event.
How IoT and Green Technologies from Science Park Create a Smart Living
HKSTPC held an event named “How IoT and green technologies from Science Park create a smart living” on 22nd July 2016 at Chamber 3, InnoCentre, Kowloon Tong. During the session of Smart Home enabled by IoT, Integrated Solutions Limited was invited to introduce ReportNOW to the interior designers, engineers and other I.T. companies. There were some exhibition booths for participants to visit and exchange ideas.

CMA Multivariate Direction Summer Training Program 2016
“CMA Multivariate Direction Summer Training Program 2016”, organsized by The Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong, was held from 20 to 27 July 2016 in Conference Hall 04-05, 2/F Lakeside 2, Phase II, Hong Kong Science Park.
The event provided various activities and training for the secondary school students in helping them understand the goals and directions in life. The seminar invited some young entrepreneurs to meet and share with the local secondary school students. Mr. Hilton Law , CEO of Integrated Solutions Limited, was invited to attend the luncheon with the reporters and shared some inspirations about "Three Creativities" (entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity) in order to broaden the horizons of the students and set goals for them to find the desirable path.
Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovative Start-Ups Seminar
The Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovative Start-Ups Seminar, jointly organized by Cyberport and the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, was held on 21st June 2016 from 3pm to 5pm at the Conference Hall 04-05, 2/F Lakeside 2, Phase II, Hong Kong Science Park. Four speakers including Dr. Witman Hung, Principal Liaison Officer for Hong Kong, Shenzhen Qianhai Authority; Mr. Peter Choi, Director of Palapple; Mr. Edmund Lee, Founder and Director of Apptech and Mr. Hilton Law, Judge of the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovative Start-ups Competition (Hong Kong Region) and CEO of Integrated Solutions Limited, provided professional advice to the participants at the seminar.
The Seminar not only introduced the preferential policies and the latest developments of Qianhai, but also took the lead in introducing the details of the first "Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovative Start-ups Competition 2016". Judges of the competition were arranged to share the key to success with the participants. Mr. Hilton Law, the CEO of Integrated Solutions Limited, was invited to be the judge of the first “Shekou Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Start-ups Competition” which supports youths to start their business in Qianhai for innovation and entrepreneurship, and enhances communication between youths in Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
IoT & Wireless Symposium: Opportunities for Electronics Industry
Hong Kong Electronics Industry Council organized a full-day symposium named “Internet of Things (IoT) & Wireless Symposium: Opportunities for Electronics Industry” on 31 May 2016 from 9am to 5:30pm. The symposium took place in Charles K Kao Auditorium, Hong Kong Science Park.
This symposium is funded by the SME Development Fund of the Trade and Industry Department, HKSAR Government. Distinguished speakers from renowned technology companies were invited to share at the symposium. Besides, some IoT & wireless products or technologies were exhibited for members of the Hong Kong Electronics Industry to learn more about the latest IoT and wireless technologies and its application. The showcases help the industry stay close to the massive market of IoT and wireless technologies. There were over 10 representatives from internationally recognised enterprises sharing information on Internet of Things (IoT) and wireless technology, attracting nearly 220 people from the industry to attend. There were 17 companies showcasing IoT & wireless products or technologies while Integrated Solutions Limited was honored to be one of them to showcase ReportNOW.
Hong Kong Science Park Innovation Showcase 2016
From 24 to 31 May 2016, Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) held the “Hong Kong Science Park Innovation Showcase 2016” in Exhibition Hall, G/F, Core Building 2, Phase 1, Science Park. This exhibition presented an array of 39 innovation showcases, which demonstrated the latest technologies developed by different IT companies at Hong Kong Science Park. There were five areas in this exhibition including Biomedical Technology, Electronics, Green Technology, Information & Communications Technology and Material & Precision Engineering. ISL was honored to be one of the exhibitors, and able to showcase its technology, ReportNOW, in the Information & Communications Technology area.

The public can visit Lobby, G/F, Lakeside 2, Science Park to know more about the local technology innovation ecosystem and understand science and technology and how they are related to their daily life.

City Challenge (Intermediate Group) – Finale
HKSTP organized the City Challenge (Intermediate Group) – Finale on 7th May 2016 at 2/F Lakeside 2, No.10 West Avenue, Hong Kong Science Park in order to invite citizens and students in Hong Kong to submit their innovative ideas on cutting-edge technologies for building Hong Kong into a more efficient, livable and sustainable city. The competition encouraged participants to solve one of the five Smart-city challenges – Intelligent transportation, Energy Management (Reduction, Generation and Efficiency), Waste Management, Public-sector Digitisation, and Smart Home Living.
The competition is divided into three groups – Primary Group, Intermediate Group and Open Group. HKSTP invited professional judges like Prof. Hui Yer-van, Vice-President (Academic and Research) of Hang Seng Management College; IR Henry Leung, Business Marketing & Development Manager of CLP Power Hong Kong Ltd; Mr. Andrew Young , Chief Commercial Officer of HKSTP and Mr. Hilton Law, CEO of Integrated Solutions Ltd.
“香港人撐香港品牌” Brainstorming Workshop
The fifth Brainstorming Workshop of “香港人撐香港品牌” was successfully held on 29th April 2016 at The Galaxy. The evening was filled with warm atmosphere where participants can communicate, discuss and share related experience directly with the speakers in small groups in just a table distance.
A number of guests were invited to share on that day. They are Bill Chan, President and CEO of ENTERBAY; CK Chan, Head of Sales and Operations of GROUPON; Eric Tang, CEO of Four Directions Limited; and Banner Chris, Founder of e-banner and CEO of e-print. Rio Chow, COO of Tera Age had also presented ReportNOW with the topic “One Mobile App Integrates Your Business Operations”.
The Brainstorming Workshop ended with great success while every party showed great enthusiasm. Hopefully there will be another chance to share more in the future.
