2008 is a year of changes and challenges.

Without question, ISL has passed through a series of twists and turns, such as the Financial Disaster in 1987, Asia Financial Storm in 1997, the burst of Internet bubble in 2000, the 991 Disaster Attacks in 2002 and SARS Outbreak in 2003 etc. Since the CDC Software has completed acquisition of ISL last year, we now become an enterprise with over 1,000 employees and offices all over the world. Although the consequence caused by the recent financial tsunami is terrific and many enterprises in South-China regions are facing the danger of closing down, enterprises will still be able to survive or even a breakthrough if they can make good use of Information Technology at this very moment. Two months ago, ISL's ERP Consultant visited a customer for the review of ERP implementation project. During the meeting, we talked about the difficulties of adopting the “Shop Floor Production Plan” into the ERP System. The reasons are mainly due to frequent re-scheduling of customer orders and changing of order quantity; late delivery of materials from suppliers causing non-fully usage of man-power at the shop floor......

ISL has been co-operating with the academy and non-profit organizations. Not only launched the "Job Shadowing Program" with the university and secondary school, but ISL has also done a research on the rating of ERP usage in the market.

Moreover, ISL has donated our flagship ERP System to the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) as their teaching material. We aim to contribute to the academy by letting the students understand the market trend and the operation of an ERP System in an organization so that they will not lag behind the others under the competitive society in the future......
